GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Multi-core 1.8 GHz processor or better.
  • 1 GB RAM
  • Windows XP, Windows Vista Business or Windows 7*
  • 80 GB Hard Drive or more
  • CD/DVD ROM Drive
  • A US Robotics external modem (Only required for dial-up credit card processing)
  • 1 Serial Port or USB to Serial Adapter (if required for your applicaiton)
  • Mouse
  • Windows compatible printer. (Laser printer recommended)
  • Ethernet port (Networking)

*No Home Basic Versions

PRINTERS
Laser printers such as Brother, Hewlett Packard and Samsung are recommended.

NETWORKING
For a network, you will need a computer and monitor at each station equipped with an Ethernet card and an appropriate version of Windows XP, Windows Vista Business or Windows 7. You will also need a hub, switch or router to connect the computers and an Ethernet cable for each station. The networking module must be purchased for Check-Inn® to run over a network.

INTERNET CONNECTION
A wired, high speed internet connection (DSL or greater - No Satellite) is required for Internet credit card processing, Direct-Inn and GDS interfaces.

NOTE: Wireless networks are not supported with Check-Inn^® for Windows.

USB FLASH DRIVE
Multiple 2 GB flash drives are highly recommended for manual back-ups.
