No Service Contract?  Great time to call!

If you own a property that purchased Check-Inn in the past, but do not have an active Service Contract, this is an excellent time to give us a call.  We recently mailed newsletters to all of our customers that have active Service Contracts. The newsletter contains details about the impending price increase to the Service Contract on July 1st, 2013.  As of July 1st the contract price will increase to $400 per year.

But if you don’t have a Service Contract, you won’t receive this newsletter.  So we will be emailing details about the change instead (unless you have let us know that you do not wish to be emailed; we always respect your privacy wishes).

The price increase is relevant to both current and past customers.  If it has been three years or less since you last had a Service Contract with us, you can give us a call and renew your contract at the old price of $300 per year.  This will give you a year of support as well as the ability to download and install the updates you have missed.  You can even pay forward your contract up to 3 years at the old rate (offer valid through July 1st, 2013).

For customers that are considering renewing their contract but do not have one currently:  It is going to be VERY important to maintain an active contract because after-hours emergency support will not be available unless you have an active Service Contract.

Why is the Service Contract important?

Your front desk software is one of the few things you use between 16-24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  It is very important to stay up to date on your business software and maintain access to support.

We release updates about once a month, which can include anything from minor to major bug fixes, updates to functionality and reporting as well as the ability to purchase optional add-on items like the Advanced ID Scanner.

Even more important is the access to our support team.  This is often under-appreciated and underutilized, which can result in minor issues becoming major, debilitating problems.  Also, a surprising amount of customers do not use features like Advanced Passwords and Occupancy Based Rates.  Our support team can teach you these money making options.  (Advanced Passwords can save your business by allowing you to track exactly what your front desk is doing.  We have many stories of properties that could have saved themselves a great deal of pain and money just through using passwords and advanced reporting!)
