Expedia QuickConnect® Interface

This software interface enables seamless connectivity between your Check-Inn® for Windows software and Expedia.com and their affiliates.  This includes expedia.com, hotels.com, hotwire.com and the Expedia Affiliate Network!

Here's how it works: When a guest books a room online or through Expedia, the reservation is transmitted through our two-way interface to your Check-Inn® front desk system. Your real time room inventory is constantly updated so you don't have to worry about overbooking. You control room rates and availability from your hotel computer with our easy to use software interface.   

The Expedia QuickConnect® interface requires an account with Expedia.  Other requirements include a network upgrade and current Service Contract.  Please call Innsoft Sales at (800)950-8995, option 1 for more information.

Q.    Why do I need the Expedia Interface?
A.    Depending on how many reservations you receive from Expedia, you can easily save hours a week of time paid to your personnel manually entering reservations.  Even more important, you will be able to run a fast, easy to understand report for your front desk to help manage your Base Allocation to Expedia.  Cut down on commission costs and save even more money by managing Expedia directly through Check-Inn®!

Q.    I do not have an Expedia account yet.  How do I sign up?
A.    You can contact Expedia by filling out their online form at:  https://joinexpedia.com/

Q.    What are the setup fees?
A.    If you are an independent property, you can manage Expedia.com separately, outside of your GDS connection (this would allow you to save on the commissions you are paying to your provider).  You can use both the GDS Interface to Check-Inn and the Expedia Interface to save the most time and money!

Most franchises that Innsoft, Inc. works with are allowed to manage Expedia separately from the GDS provider.  A few franchises, however, do not allow this.  Give us a call or call your franchise representative for more information. 

Q.    Does Expedia charge extra for the interface to Check-Inn®?
A.    No, Expedia does not charge extra for the interface.  However, you will need an account with Expedia.

Q.    Does this conflict with my GDS service or interface?
A.    You can manage Expedia.com as part of your GDS service or separately from your GDS provider.  The Expedia QuickConnect interface does not conflict with your GDS interface.  You can use both to save the most time and money!


Booking.com Interface

When a guest books a room online or through Booking.com, the reservation is transmitted through our two-way interface to your Check-Inn® front desk system. Your real time room inventory is constantly updated so you don't have to worry about overbooking. You control room rates and availability from your hotel computer with our easy to use software interface.   

The Booking.com interface requires an account and signed XML agreement with Booking.com.  Other requirements include a network upgrade and current Service Contract.  Please call Innsoft Sales at (800)950-8995, option 1 for more information.

Q.   What are the setup fees?
A.   The Booking.com Interface is $300/year for unlimited reservations.  You must maintain an active Service Contract for Check-Inn ($300/year).  You also need a network module ($299 one-time charge, call Innsoft Sales if you are unsure whether or not you have already purchased this option).  

Q.   Does Booking.com charge extra for the interface to Check-Inn?
A.   No, Booking.com does not charge extra for the interface.  All you need is a Booking.com account and a signed XML Agreement with them.

Q.   How do I start the process?
A.   If you already have a Booking.com account, call your Booking.com Account Manager and request the interface with Innsoft (commercial assessment of the XML integration). You will also need to give us a call and we will provide you with the quote and payment forms for the interface and network module (if needed).  If you do not have an active Service Contract, you will need to renew it or you may need to upgrade your Check-Inn software.
